    Description

Please NOTE!!! Picture of cereal box IS NOT INCLUDED. I found it on the net for info purposes only.
What is included are the 2 different Glow in the dark "Circus Acrobats" that were this cereals premiums.  There were only four premiums ever offered by this cereal and these are 2 of them sealed! The Cereal lasted only for 2 years.
Other info I found on the net:
    From: Quaker
    Introduced in 1979
This cereal has 60 votes for All-Time Greatest Cereal.

In response the late-1970's public backlash to high sugar in cereal, Quaker offered up Halfsies cereal, "the first children's cereal with half the sugar of most sugar-coated cereals."
The cereal was described on the box as "a lightly sweetened cereal fortified with 9 essential vitamins and minerals - 1/2 the sugar of most sugar coated cereals."
Unfortunately, the cereal still contained 18% sugar. The public seemed to see Halfsies more as a ploy to profit from sugar concerns than a novel new cereal.
It disappeared from grocery stores about 2 years after it's introduction.
Mascot: King of The Land of Half
Known premiums: glow-in-the-dark circus acrobat; crazy ball
Our date of introduction is different from most sites (including Wikipedia) with information about this cereal. Our date was derived from a 1981 New York Times article about the demise of the cereal.
